The Dover Police Association Scholarship Award was created to assist Dover students graduating Dover-Sherborn Regional High School (DSRHS) with some of their financial burden during their first year of college.
To qualify, applicant must meet the following prerequisites:
- Must be a Dover resident (or METCO student)
- Must be graduating DSRHS by the end of the 2017 school year (with the 2017 class)
- Must be entering college for the fall of 2017 semester
While an interest in Criminal Justice is preferred, it is not a requirement.
Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and essay to the Dover Police Department Headquarters, attention Officer Rob Clouse, on or before May 12th, 2017.
The cover letter should include your name, address, school clubs and activities, social and community clubs and activities, the school you will be attending and your intended major. The essay should be 250 – 500 words and encompass why you feel you need the scholarship and why you feel we should consider you for the scholarship.
